history

To most, Samuel Mancino's is a place to satisfy a desire for excellent tasting food, dependability, and comfort. But for me and my family, it is a dream come to life. Let me tell you our story.

In the late 1950s, my parents, Samuel and Marion Mancino Sr., established Sammy's Pizzeria in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. My father worked in the family restaurant for many years, raising me to appreciate the values of great taste and delivering a quality product to our customers.

Thirty years later, my wife, Michele, and I followed my parents' legacy by opening a restaurant of our own in Three Rivers, Michigan. We called it Samuel Mancino's. As the owner, I prided myself on offering a welcoming atmosphere that made our customers feel at home.

As the restaurant's popularity grew, we opened another, and people began to ask me how they, too, could own and operate a Samuel Mancino's. I delighted in the idea of others sharing in my dream, so I decided to franchise the Samuel Mancino's name, along with the concept my family and I had developed. By February 1994, my partner and I had the franchise up and running, each of us doing everything from building the stores to marketing.

We've grown up a lot since then, opening our doors in numerous cities throughout the Midwest and beyond. Each franchise, including the one you're in now, has owners as passionate as I am about the quality and care we give our customers, and as we grow, we continue to look for new owners to share in that passion.

Every day, we strive to serve our customers with nothing but excellence because you, as our customer, are not just another person, but someone who has made a dream possible for me and everyone else in the Samuel Mancino's family. For that, I sincerely thank you and hope to see you again soon!
